Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is a water park located in the Pocono Mountains, in Tannersville, Pennsylvania at Big Pocono State Park, address 309 Resort Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1998, it is the summer operation for Camelback Mountain Resort home of Camelback Ski and Snowboard Area.
Attractions
Camelbeach contains over 37 waterslides (the most in Pennsylvania) as well as many other attractions.
Dry Attractions
- Even though it is still summer, you can go up and down the mountain still with the Sky Ride. Relax and dry off with friends and you can see many animals such as bear, turkey, and many others.

Original Park Attractions
- The Blue Nile Adventure River is Camelbeach's lazy river. Relax as you journey down this river, but watch out for waterfalls and other water features!
- The Mat Slides are 2 slides where you use the matts to slip down a waterslide. It is a smaller version of the Checkered Flag Challenge. Note: Minimum height 36” and maximum height 5’ with a weight limit of 140 lbs.
- The Tube Slides are 4 tube slides where as many as 3 people can ride down, in one tube. They are 4 slides, two are not enclosed, while the other two are.
- Just because it's a waterpark doesn't mean there can't be an Olympic Pool. Splash and hangout with friends in the pool.
Expansions
- The Titan is an eight-story tall tube slide that allows up to four people per raft to ride down it. It debuted 2000. The Titan has nine curves with extra banks to keep the raft from going over the slide.
- The Kahuna Lagoon is a wave pool which can produce up to six-foot waves, the highest man-made waves in the Northeast. It opened in 2001.
- The Vortex and Spin Cycle are two bowl slides. Spin Cycle is ridden with a tube, and ends in a chute, while Vortex is ridden without a tube and ends in a 6 1⁄2-foot-deep (2.0 m) pool. They both opened in 2002.
- Triple Venom are three separate speed water slides, called Serpent, Viper, and Cobra, all over six stories tall. Serpent is not enclosed and allows you to experience weightlessness three times as you descend. There are three drops to it. Viper is an enclosed translucent slide. Cobra is also enclosed, but is total darkness. The Triple Venom complex opened in 2003. These rides are somewhat notorious for hurting people's backs.
- Checkered Flag Challenge is an eight-lane slide where the participants race each other down the slide on mats try to get the best time. It includes a timing system which reveals the winner. It opened in 2004.
- Flowrider is a ride that offers riders to ride waves lying down or standing up on a surfboard. It opened in 2006.
- Pharaoh's Phortress is a family water play structure that features 8 watersides, a four-story-high tipping bucket, fountains, spray guns, and more. It opened in 2008.
- Dune Runner and Sandstorm are two new family raft slides featured at Camelbeach. Both opened together in 2011.

- A smaller version of the Pharaoh's Phortress, Mummy's Oasis is a water playground with multiple slides, swings, many water features where YOU control how you get wet. And just like the Pharaoh's Phortress look out for the giant bucket that drops water on you every few minutes. Note: Maximum 48" (except for adults accompanying their small children). It replaced Camel Cove, which was very similar to Mummy's Oasis

Awards & accolades
Camelbeach has been awarded by several national publications many times in its short lifespan. Aquatics International magazine awarded the park "Best Commercial Waterpark" for parks gathering 100,000 through 300,000 visitors each year. The International Amusement Parks Convention awarded Camelbeach one of three "Best Waterparks to Visit in 2005" awards. Camelbeach was also showcased in The Travel Channel's Waterparks 2005.
