San Jose Mayoral elections 2014

Proposition 67 is a California ballot proposition on the November 8, 2016 ballot. A "Yes" vote approves, and a "No" vote rejects, a statute that prohibits grocery and other stores from providing customers single–use plastic or paper carryout bags but permits sale of recycled paper bags and reusable bags.^[1]

It passed on with 52% of votes.^[2] Together with the passage of Proposition 65, Senate Bill 270, which bans plastic shopping bags, was upheld and will go into effect.^[3]
