CKPP-FM
CKPP-FM is a radio station which broadcasts hot adult contemporary station at 107.9 MHz (FM) in Prescott, Ontario, Canada.
History
On November 10, 2011, the owners of the Haliburton Broadcasting Group received approval from the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to operate a new FM radio station at Prescott on 107.9 MHz.[1]
On April 23, 2012 Vista Broadcast Group, which owns a number of radio stations in western Canada, announced a deal to acquire Haliburton Broadcasting, in cooperation with Westerkirk Capital.[2] The transaction was approved by the CRTC on October 19, 2012.[3]
CKPP began broadcasting as Coast FM on October 22, 2015. [4]
