Description
'Dart's Purple Rain' is a small shrub, growing to < 1.5 m in height, with purple-blue panicles 15–20 cm long, complemented by small, plain green leaves. [1] [2]
Cultivation
'Dart's Purple Rain' is uncommon in cultivation, and is not known to have been introduced to North America. In the UK it is included in the NCCPG National Collection held by Longstock Park Nursery near Stockbridge in Hampshire. Hardiness: USDA zones 5–9. [1]
