Bob Pacheco

Bob Pacheco is an American state legislator who represented California's 60th State Assembly district from 1998 until 2004. He currently serves on the US Naval Academy Board of Visitors.

Election to the Assembly

Mr. Pacheco succeeded Gary Miller after Miller was elected to Congress. Mr. Pacheco was termed out in 2004.

Education

Mr. Pacheco received his Associate of Arts degree from East Los Angeles College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Management from California State University, Los Angeles. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. Mr. Pacheco was admitted to the California State Bar in 1974.

Post Assembly Career

In April 2005 Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Mr. Pacheco to a spot on the Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board (better known as the CAL/OSHA Board). Later, Mr. Pacheco was appointed by President George W. Bush to the US Naval Academy Board of Visitors.
