Black Stockings FC is a Turkish "defunct" football club from Istanbul, Ottoman Empire, closed in 1901.
History
Black Stockings FC was founded by Fuat Hüsnü Kayacan, Mehmet Ali, Reşat Danyal, Rıza Tevfik, Daniş, Tahsin Nahit[2] in Istanbul in 1901. The club was dissolved after its first match on 26 October 1901, because the players were indicted after padishah's detective Ali Şamil Bey and police raided a field.[3] The first Turkish Football player Fuat Hüsnü Kayacan played for Black Stockings FC.[4]
