Bexhill FM is a Restricted Service Licence FM frequency station broadcasting to Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, UK for one week a year.
The station is regulated by the Office of Communications, usually known as Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator whenever it is on air in its RSL period. The station is managed when it is on air by Bexhill High Academy and Bexhill College students.
History
Bexhill FM is a RSL from OFCOM, which is a radio station based and run by Bexhill High Academy (formerly Bexhill High School). It was originally the figurehead of Steven Cross, Assistant Principal at Bexhill High.
It broadcasts every year for one week in July. The previous teacher in charge was Philip Higgins, however in 2011, teacher in charge post was taken over by Katy DeBraux with technical and programming duties being headed up by Richard Harris (station manager). The deputy station managers are currently Jas Smith (Head of Production), Leah Bryant (Head of News), Aaron Pape (Head of Services) and Louis Walker (Head of Advertising)
