Donald Barry Llewelyn (06/01/1948)[1] was a Welsh rugby union player who gained 13 caps for Wales as a prop between 1970 and 1972.
Barry was born in Ashton, Lancashire - educated at Llanelli Grammar School. Started 1st class career at Llanelli, joined Newport in 1968/9 while at Caerleon College of Education.
Newport RFC debut at Pontypool Nov 13th 1968 (W6-5). 13 caps for Wales - 5 with Newport (debut vs SA Jan 24th 1970) and 8 when he returned to Llanelli in 1970/1.
Also played for Carmarthen Athletic, Hendy, Newbridge, Loughborough College and the Barbarians.
Newport RFC record : 1968/9-1969/70 : 39 apps / 6t.[2]
