Barrie Wheatley

Barrie Wheatley is an English former footballer who played for Crewe Alexandra.

Career

At Crewe Alexandra he played 267 league games, scoring 53 goals. His most memorable goal was at Chelsea in the 1960-61 FA Cup 3rd Round, when he headed Crewe's winner in a shock 2-1 win, against a Chelsea side containing Jimmy Greaves, Peter Bonetti and Terry Venables.[1]
