BGF Ventures is a London, UK-based venture capital firm that invests early-stage, primarily in UK-based technology and Internet startup companies.[1][2]

BGF Ventures is a subsidiary of BGF, the Business Growth Fund, with £2.5B of capital under management. The firm claims to be the second most active venture capital fund in the UK in 2016.[3]

The partners of the firm are Simon Calver, formerly CEO of Lovefilm and Mothercare,[4][5] Harry Briggs,[6] previously at Balderton Capital,[7] and Rory Stirling, previously a partner at MMC Ventures.[8]
