History

Audouville La Hubert was the scene of a murder of disarmed German POWs by American paratroopers in 1944. Shortly after the capture of Sainte-Mère-Église, 30 Wehrmacht soldiers were captured and shot by what is widely believed to be the US 101st Airborne Division.[1]
