Apollonia (Mysia)
This article is about the ancient city in Mysia. For other uses, see Apollonia.
Apollonia (Greek: Ἀπολλωνία) was an ancient city of Mysia, Anatolia, situated on an eminence east of Pergamum, on the way to Sardis.[1] It seems to have been near the borders of Mysia and Lydia. The editors of the Barrington Atlas of the Greek and Roman World place Apollonia between the modern Turkish towns of Yenice and Duvarlar.[2]
