Anuppan

Anuppan is a community of Kannada, Tamil -speaking Hindu farmers who reside in the southern districts of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The Anuppan are a primarily agricultural community that are descended from immigrants to Tamil Nadu.anuppans also called anuppa gounder.The anuppa gounder is one of the 9 kambala.[1] Local, Tamil-speakers refer to the Anuppan as "Vadugan".[1]
