Anne is an American-Canadian television series based on the 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery and adapted by Moira Walley-Beckett.[1] It will air on CBC in Canada and will stream on Netflix globally in 2017.[2] The series will consist of 8 episodes, with Niki Caro directing the two-hour season premiere.[3]
