Angela McCormick, is a Scottish politician and human rights activist.
Political career
She contested twice in Glasgow North constituency at the 2010 and 2015 British general elections.[1][2] McCormick has represented numerous workers over the last decade, and has campaigned on issues such as equal pay, disability discrimination, and pensions.[3][4][5][6]
She has been a longstanding critic of the Dungavel Detention Centre for failed asylum seekers.[7] She is an active participant in the Stop the War Coalition, campaigned against the 31st G8 summit at Gleneagles.[8]
Personal life
McCormick is a supporter of Partick Thistle.
