Andra Bernard Franklin (August 22, 1959 December 6, 2006) was an American running back in the National Football League from 1981 to 1984 for the Miami Dolphins. Franklin played collegiately at the University of Nebraska. Franklin died from heart failure in 2006.

Franklin played football at the University of Nebraska from 1977 to 1980, rushing for 1,738 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was drafted in the second round by the Miami Dolphins and played in the N.F.L. for four years, starting in Super Bowl XVII in 1982 against the Washington Redskins, who won 27-17. He also appeared on a Sports Illustrated cover.

Led the Miami Dolphins in rushing during the strike-shortened 1982 season, 3rd overall in the NFL, with 701 yards in 9 games.
