Amaya Valdemoro Madariaga (Alcobendas, Community of Madrid on August 18, 1976) is a Spanish former basketball player. She won three WNBA championship rings and competed in two Olympic Games - Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
WNBA
Valdemoro was selected with the 30th overall pick (3rd round) in the 1998 WNBA Draft by the Houston Comets. She played with the Comets from 1998–2000, winning championships in each of those three seasons.[1]
National team
Valdemoro has played in two Summer Olympics with the Spain women's national basketball team at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics.[2] She was voted MVP of the EuroBasket Women 2007.[3]
