Agnes Geijer
Agnes Geijer (26 October 1898 – 17 July 1989) was a Swedish textile historian and archaeologist.
Life
Agnes Geijer became the head of the textile conservation atelier Pietas in 1930. She took a doctoral degree at Uppsala University in 1938, and from 1941 worked at the Swedish History Museum. From 1947 she was active there as textile conservationist.[1]
Geijer died in 1989. There is a foundation in her name that awards grants and scholarships for students of the history of textiles who come from the five Nordic countries.[2]
