Adrian Lewis Morgan is a Welsh actor, best known for playing Dr. Jimmi Clay in the BBC soap Doctors, in which he is the longest serving cast member having appeared in the show for 11 years.
The son of a social worker, he was born in Beddau, and has one sister.[1] Lewis Morgan trained at The HTV Drama Workshop led by Peter Wooldridge, and then graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.
On graduation, his first role was as Tobias Ragg in Sweeney Todd at the Royal National Theatre.[2] During his theatre career, he starred in various West End theatre productions, including: Marius in Les Misèrables; Roger in Rent; and Judas/Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar.[3]
He then played Nurse Liam Evans in Holby City, and since 2005 has played Dr. Jimmi Clay in the BBC One daytime soap Doctors.[4]
Adrian and his wife Ria welcomed their first child in August 2016.
