Ademola Lookman Olajade Lookman (born 20 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Charlton Athletic

Club career

Lookman joined Charlton's academy in 2014 after signing from Waterloo FC, a youth football club based in the London Borough of Lambeth.[6] His impressive goal scoring record for Charlton's U18 and U21 teams led to him making a rapid ascent through the Charlton academy ranks and he made his first-team debut for the Addicks on 3 November 2015.[3] He scored his first goal for the club in a 3-2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on 5 December 2015,[7] and then followed that up with a brace in a 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers on 15 December 2015.[8] Lookman was given the number 7 squad number ahead of the start of Charlton's 2016/2017 League One campaign. He began the season on the substitutes bench. Lookman came off the bench to score his first goal of Charlton Athletic's 2016/2017 campaign against Bolton Wanderers at The Valley. Lookman came off the bench to score twice, including a stunning long range effort, in Charlton Athletic's 3-1 FA cup win over Scunthorpe United. He could continued to impress for Charlton in the 2016/2017 season: scoring another goal, this time agaist Bristol Rovers.

International career

Lookman received his first international call up on 16 May 2016 being named in the England U19 squad for a double header against Mexico.[9] He was subsequently named in the England squad for the European U19 Championships the same summer.[10]
