Adelaide T. Crapsey
Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey (1855-1950) was the wife of American Episcopal priest and social reformer Algernon Sidney Crapsey and mother of American poet Adelaide Crapsey.
She was well known in the Rochester, New York area for organizing aid for widows, young mothers, and children, and founded the Adelaide T. Crapsey Co., which manufactured children's frocks and provided a family-type work environment for its workers.
