The Acura CDX is a compact crossover by Acura, a luxury subsidiary of Honda which made its debut at Auto China in 2016. The car made its debut at Auto China in 2016. It has been confirmed that production will take place at ZengCheng Plant in China and the CDX will go on sale by July 2016.[2] Currently, the CDX is planned as a Chinese Domestic Market (CDM) model with Acura announcing it has no plans to launch in North America.[3]
First Generation (2016-present)
Powertrain
The CDX is the first Acura to be equipped with a factory fitted turbocharger since the first generation RDX K23 VTEC TURBO.
Power comes from a 185PS 1.5 DOHC VTEC TURBO coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with SportShift system. It is available in a front-wheel and all-wheel drive system (dissimilar to the Acura Super Handling All-Wheel Drive System). [4]
