Acacia merrickiae is a shrub belonging to the genus Acacia and the subgenus Phyllodineae. It is native to an area in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia in the IBRA Avon Wheatbelt.[1]
The open spindly shrub typically grows to a height of 2 to 4 metres (6.6 to 13.1 ft). It blooms from April to June and produces yellow-cream flowers.
