Abdeen Mosque

Not to be confused with Aberdeen Mosque and Islamic Centre.

Abdeen Mosque (Arabic: مسجد عابدين) is the main mosque in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood in East Jerusalem, about 500 meters (1,600 ft) away from Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City walls. It was built by brothers Abdel Muhsin and Omar Abdeen in 1939.[1]
