3 Persei is a star in the constellation Perseus. Its apparent magnitude is 5.71. Located around 75.02 parsecs (244.7 ly) distant, it is a subgiant of spectral type K0IV,[1] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and is evolving to become a red giant.
