The 2006 Telstra Rally Australia was the fourteenth round of the 2006 World Rally Championship season. It took place between 26–29 October 2006. Marcus Grönholm's fifth place ensured that the injured Sébastien Loeb became the 2006 World Rally Champion; Grönholm had needed to finish third or higher to remain in title contention.
