The 1997 Cup of Russia was the Cup of Russia competition of the 1997–98 figure skating season. It was the sixth event of six of the 1997–98 ISU Champions Series. Elite senior-level figure skaters competed in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
In 1997, the Cup of Russia was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia from November 19 through 23rd. Skaters who placed high enough in this competition earned points towards competing in the 1997–98 Champions Series Final.
