The 1901 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 1901 college football season. In their first year under head coach Fred Roberts, the Sooners compiled a 3–2 record, and outscored their opponents by a combined total of 93 to 35.[1][2] This season would also be the first that the team played the Texas Longhorns twice a home and home series for the Red River Showdown.
